Self Storage Facility on Apex Peakway in Apex, NC

I’ve had an excellent experience with Ample Storage Center in Apex. The facility is spotless, well-maintained, and has plenty of parking—which made moving in and out super easy. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and clearly knew what they were doing. It’s rare to find a storage place that makes things this smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a perpetual resident of Ample storage since moving to Apex in 2022 and I couldn’t be a happier customer! I’ve had every manner of storage unit they offer- indoor, outdoor, climate controlled, with and without lights/power outlets. I’ve stored the entire contents of my home there twice, had a few different units that I’ve used as workspaces to refinish furniture and made friends with other long time residents that use exterior units to work on hobbies and/or run their businesses. All of the buildings are clean, bright and well maintained. In over 3 years, I’ve had one issue (light in my unit was out) and they had it fixed before the next time I came by. There’s a locked bathroom for’ residents’ that is always clean and stocked and there are plenty of push carts if you need them. Betty and Susan in the office keep everything running smoothly and have always gone above and beyond to make sure that they offer superior customer service to make their location stand out. Don’t waste your time or money at places like Public Storage (on TenTen)… they can’t hold a candle to these guys.

My wife and I moved our entire house into Ample Storage in Apex for a few months. Their new climate controlled building is beautiful. It is the cleanest storage building I’ve ever seen. The office is also a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Ample in Apex for any of your storage needs.

After decades of traveling and using all kinds of storage companies, this is by far the best I've ever used. The facilities are very well kept, with units of all sizes and shapes to attend various needs. Competent and friendly personnel, going above and beyond to help. Plus, the cost is reasonable and stable, without constant price hikes I experienced with other businesses.

Outstanding service from the manager Susan as well as her staff Betty and Tony. I've used other storage facilities in the past such as ExtraSpace and Public Storage and the facilities here at Ample Storage are top notch; The staff do a good job in keeping the place well kept which is definitely in contrast to other storage facilities I've used in the past that didn't do a great job with upkeep.

Susan & Betty are absolutely delightful to talk and extremely helpful when things get tricky! 10 Stars! Very safe, clean and quiet place.

Ample Storage was top notch in every aspect. Very professional staff, courteous, efficient, and friendly. Storage property was always super clean and easy to drive in and out. All units buildings are very accessible. Better than any I have ever come across in storage facilities. Very good security. I am very particular about the storage of my personal and business belongings, and Ample in Apex stands out as the best storage place that I have ever used over the past decades bar none! Highest of standards...extremely lucky to have found Ample. 5 Gold Stars all the way!

The building for my unit was always super clean and a comfortable temp, plus Betty in the office is a true delight. Highly recommend.

Susan the property manager is absolutely lovely, knowledgeable and an excellent property manager. The facilities are immaculate and I’m grateful I selected this facility and had the opportunity to work with Susan.

Susan and Betty from the office are friendly, helpful, and great to work with. The facility is always clean and has climate controlled storage units which are great to prevent mold from damaging your furniture and boxes. I definitely recommend this facility.

I just wanted to post a big Thank You to all of the customers who I've had the pleasure to work with at the Ample Storage Apex facility over the last 3+ years. It was truly my favorite facility to run, and I will sincerely miss the people there. I have moved to another location in Durham, so please accept my apologies for not letting anyone know in advance. I wish the new manager the best, and hope he will have as much of a great experience as i did. :)

I've been a tenant here for about 3 months. Shannon and her staff have always addressed questions or concerns that I've had very quickly. The facility is convenient, clean, and very accessible. I've used multiple storage facilities over the years and this is one of the better ones that I've had.

This is my second time using one of their storage units and this experience has been just as wonderful as the last time! The units themselves are very clean and they offer a variety of sizes. The prices are very affordable and the location is right in the heart of Apex! I’ve never had trouble accessing my unit and moving my items in was a breeze. Shannon is very friendly and she answered any questions I had in a personable and professional manner. 10/10 would recommend!

I've been a tenant at least since 2016. I've had two different units in all this time due to an upgrade in size. Environment is temp and pest controlled where my unit is, and I know they have a form of janitorial service. When I had a complaint, management addressed it quickly and respectfully and had clear communication. The staff is respectful and professional; some are friendly. Pricing is competitive. Overall, my storage experience has been uneventful and reliable, which is exactly what I want from them! Safety isn't normally an issue. There are bands that come to play, and some people use the facilities for their business. Its never been a problem on my side, and I think its charming. I can't remember what the date and signature on the last inspection as read on the documentation in the elevator was. It's documented in plain sight, I just can't remember for this review. The elevators make me uneasy due to sound and clunky behavior. The provided industrial-strength carts are wobbly, dented, dirty and sometimes wet from rampant feral tenant abuse. You can still use them, but they were a lot nicer before. I don't think there is any trash facilities or a dumpster on site. I don't think there are bathrooms either. I recommended my brother do business with them, and he's a tenant there now, as well. I don't remember him having any complaints. I would recommend this storage facility to my friends, family, or any civilized applicant. For the applicants that management would have to inform that "its inappropriate to store wet items in the units because it causes mold", this is not a good fit for you. Please keep looking elsewhere.

I’ve had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ample Storage in Apex! I called in need of a storage unit pretty quickly, and Shannon was very knowledgeable and helpful and made sure that I got situated with a unit that day. I ended up needing a second unit, and Shannon made that go smoothly as well. Shannon and Calvin have always been courteous and helpful with any question that I’ve had since renting a unit. I was able to buy packing supplies there too, which was extremely convenient. They are always ready to help and be accommodating. They have always been extremely professional and greeted me with smiles, water, and hot coffee when necessary! I highly recommend them!

I started renting a space here about 6-8 months ago for my business. I was impressed at the new facility and how clean it was, well lit, properly cooled and ultimately fairly priced. I have since added 2 more units for my personal property as we are between homes at the moment. The new spaces I rented have had tenants in before and you can not tell, it still looks very clean inside. There are carts everywhere for moving easily. I have 2 units downstairs and 1 upstairs which I was nervous about, but the elevators are roomy and again there are a ton of carts. The units and hallways aren't creepy and there so far aren't any musty smells (again this place is relatively new). Shannon also made the process super easy and straight forward. It was very easy to negotiate the extra units as I needed them. I told her my needs and she kept me in the loop when a space would free up, and helped me pick which unit was better for what I was putting in them and my plan. It wasn't just a here are our prices, take it or leave it kind of arrangement. I wave when I come by and get a wave back from the staff. It's hard to believe I have need of 3 units right now, I'm partially ashamed, but I know its temporary for at least 1 of them :-D.

What an AMAZING experience. I came in needing a storage unit with my two young daughters and a truck as well. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the manager Shannon and she was so attentive, knowledgeable and even gave my girls and I a water and tootsie rolls:). Within 10 minutes of being there we had a unit and helped me set up using there truck that came with my unit. It was such an incredible experience and I can’t say enough about how awesome of an experience we had. The property is very well cared for and my storage unit is very clean and perfect for what we needed. I a 100 percent recommend this Ample Storage and ask for the manager Shannon she’ll make sure your well taken care off. Such a great experience 5 stars all the way.

I have loved using Ample Storage. The property manager, Shannon, could not be better if she tried! Highly impressed. Paying was easy, renting the truck was a great experience and the storage unit fit our needs beautifully. Shannon does a great job running this place.
